Stephan is the SVP, Chief Consumer Insights & Analytics Officer at PepsiCo, based in Purchase, NY. Before joining PepsiCo, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Interbrand North America, where he supervised North American and Global practices. Stephan was also the co-owner and CEO of EffectiveBrands, a global marketing consulting firm that focused on building effective marketing organizations for global brand leaders. EffectiveBrands was acquired by WPP in 2014.
Previously, he spent the first 15 years of his career at Unilever, where he held brand management and leadership roles in Europe and the U.S.
Stephan was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and currently lives with his family in Greenwich, CT.
